Age Limit: Candidates age must
be between 18 to 37 years for Post of English Stenographer and 40 years for the
Post of LDC & Group ‘D’ as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxations will be extended
as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any
recognized board along with fingering speed in
computer operation & speed of 80 WPM in Shorthand and speed of 30 WPM in
Type Writing for Sr. No. 1, 2 & VIII class pass certificate from any
recognized school/ Institution for Sr. No. 3 posts.
Application Fee: Candidates need
to pay Rs.200/- for Group – ‘B, C’ & Rs.100/- for Group ‘D’ category
(Rs.50/- & Rs. 25/- for SC/ ST candidates) in the form of IPO, drawn in
favor of District Judge, Howrah, payable at Howrah.
Selection Process: Selection
shall be made on the result of Dictation, Transcription & Personality Test
for Sr. No. 1 posts, Written Test & Personality Test for Sr. No. 2, 3
posts.
How to Apply: Candidates may
apply through prescribed application format available in the notification or may
also download from the Calcutta High Court web-site www.calcuttahighcourt.nic.in
, fill application form with all given mandatory details, affix 2 passport size
photograph on it and sent along with duly attested legible copies of age, caste,
qualification, one self-addressed (with pin code) envelope with Rs.5/- stamps,
IPO must be reach to the English Department, Office of the District Judge,
Howrah within 08.03.2013 (5.00 pm). The application may be dropped at the
respective container /box which will be placed at English Department, Office of
the District Judge, Howrah
