 (RRC) Western Railway, Mumbai has issued notification for recruitment of 2249 Group D Vacancies.
 Eligible candidates may apply through Online on or before 10-11-2012.

RRC SER Vacancy Details:

Total No of Vacancies: 2249

Names of Posts: 

1. Gangman / Trackman: 590 posts
2. Helper: 963 posts
3. Helper / Stores: 27 posts
4. Platform Porter: 238 posts
5. Safaiwala / Medical, Mechanical, Commercial: 345 posts
6. Safaiwala/Cleaner/ Gen. Admn, Accounts: 30 posts
7. Waiter & Cleaner / Commercial Catering: 56 posts

Educational Qualification: 

Candidates must be pass outs in 10th standard or must possess
ITI or equivalent qualification from recognized university/board.

Age Limit: 

Candidates’ age must not be less than 18 years and must not be more than 33 years.
Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-01-2013. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Selection Process: 

Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance
in Written Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification and Medical Exmination.

Instructions for Online Application:

1. Candidates may log on to RRC website i.e www.rrc-wr.com to start the Online Application process.
2. Select “Notifications” link and click on “Click Here to Download the Application” link.
3. And select the “Submit Online Application Form”.
4. Fill all marked details carefully, Submit the Application and take printout of the Application Form & Fee Challan.
5. Go to nearest SBI Branch and pay the Fee and attach the RRC Copy of the Challan with Application Form.
6. And send it to the address mentioned above on or before 24-11-2012.

Application Fee Details: Unreserved and OBC applicants need to pay application fee of Rs.
 40/- in form of challan. Fee would be required to be paid in the nearest State Bank of
India Branch only. SC / ST / EXSM / PWD / Women / Minority candidates / Economically
 Backward Classes are exempted from payment of fee.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply through online from the website
www.rrc-wr.com on or before 10-11-2012. After submission of Online Applications,
 candidates must take the print out of form and paste passport size (3 cm x 5 cm)
photograph on the application, Superscribe the “Application for Posts in Pay Band-I
of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of 1800 – Western Railway” on the top of the envelope
 and send it along with all other relevant enclosures to the following address “Assistant
 Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway, Parcel Depot,
Alibhai Premji Road, Grant Road, Mumbai-400 007 or dropped in the Application Box kept in the RRC office”
 through Ordinary Post on or before 24-11-2012.
